By checking the box to sign up for updates for the claim you filed, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Southern Vanguard Insurance Company (“SVIC”), at the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. You may opt-out of these communications at any time, and consent to receive any other text messages is not required to get updates on your claim or policy. You also accept and agree to be bound by these SMS Terms and Conditions an any other applicable terms and agreements related to your use of SVIC services.
SVIC text message programs are governed by the following terms and conditions: You agree SVIC may send you text messages (including SMS and MMS) about any activity related to the claim or policy with SVIC to any mobile phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply, and you agree to pay the charges to your wireless bill. You acknowledge that you are eighteen years of age or older and you have the consent of the wireless account holder. When you file a claim or have a policy, you will receive a confirmation text message, and you may need to reply as instructed to complete registration.
Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. You agree to receive a final text message confirming your opt-out.
The number of SVIC text messages that you receive will vary depending on how your claim is handled by SVIC and its text messaging updates. We will only send you messages related to the handling of your claim or policy.
How to Opt-In
When you file a claim via our website, you have the option to opt-in to receive texts from SVIC. When you obtain a policy with our company you have the option to receive messages about your policy.
How to Opt-Out
To stop receiving text messages from SVIC, simply text STOP. You will then receive confirmation of your opt-out. Message & data rates may apply.

Your Mobile Telephone Number
You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. You agree to notify SVIC of any changes to your mobile number and update your subscription to reflect this change. You agree to indemnify SVIC in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify SVIC if you change your telephone number, including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Access of Delivery to Mobile Network is Not Guaranteed
Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain mobile features and certain mobile features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues. Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions. You understand and acknowledge that network services, including but not limited to mobile network services, are outside of SVIC control, and SVIC is not responsible or liable for issues arising from them.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
SVIC reserves the right to change these SMS Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued consent to receive text messages from SVIC constitutes your agreement to all such changes. You agree to review these SMS Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes.
Termination of Text Messaging
SVIC may suspend or terminate your receipt of SVIC text messages if SVIC believes you are in breach of these SMS Terms and Conditions. Your receipt of SVIC text messages is also subject to termination in the event that your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses.
